GICLÉE
The word "giclée" is a French term meaning spray or squirt which
is how the ink jet process works. Giclées capture the beauty of the original
work of art with high level of fidelity and archival longevity. The giclée
print connotes an evolution in printmaking technology.
Images are generated
from high level resolution digital scans and are printed with archival quality
ink on canvas that is then sealed, or watercolor paper which does not require
further processing.
The giclée process provides better color accuracy than
other means of resolution.
